Wix add-ons
Small, focused applications for Wix sites that do one job properly instead of ten jobs adequately. Installed from the Wix App Market, configured in minutes, and kept working as the platform changes.
Independent software studio · United Kingdom
Markland Hill is a small independent studio. We build and publish our own Android games and Wix applications — shipped in small pieces, improved constantly, and supported directly by the people who wrote them.
We would rather keep a short catalogue that works than a long one that mostly doesn't. Everything here is our own product — designed, built, released and maintained in-house.

Strategy and simulation games for phones — the kind you can pick up for ten minutes or lose an evening to. Built with Flutter against our own game servers, so the world keeps running whether the app is open or not.
An honest list — what is out, what is nearly out, and what is still on the bench.
Collection times for Wix Stores — something Wix itself cannot do. Customers pick a day and a slot at checkout; you get tomorrow's baking added up, boxes that track their own contents, a counter till and allergen checks. See what it does at bakehousecollect.co.uk.
Let customers build their own box or hamper and fill it themselves. Most bundle apps decide what goes in the bundle; this one hands that to the customer — pick a size, dress it, fill it from the shop’s own products. It reaches the basket as one line, and the order as a list of what is inside. More about it below.
A UK property development strategy game. Buy land, choose what to build on it, manage contractors and site problems, and sell into a market that moves whether you are playing or not. More about it below.
ACTUAL APP · WIX STORES
Wix cannot let your customers pick a collection time. So small food businesses put a note in the order comments and hope, or keep a paper diary by the till — and on a busy weekend somebody turns up for a cake nobody has made.
Bakehouse Collect adds collection times to your Wix checkout, works out what you need to make each morning, and keeps your boxes honest about the stock inside them. Collection times are free; the kitchen tools, the counter till and the allergen checks are from £19.97 a month.
Most bundle apps decide what goes in the bundle. Packhouse Build hands that to the shopper: they pick a size, dress it with a ribbon or a card, fill it from the shop’s own products and write a message.
It reaches the basket as one line at one price — a box, not a list of twelve things — and the order lists exactly what is inside, so whoever packs it never has to ask. The shelf keeps up in both directions: contents come off when a box sells and go back on if the order is cancelled.
Sold to florists, hamper makers, roasters and bakers, and deliberately asking for less of a shop than most apps in its category — it does not rewrite products, change the checkout or touch the customer list.

New Horizons Developments the builder
A UK property development game about the decisions, not the clicking. You run a housebuilder: you buy plots, choose what goes on them, pick the firms who do the work, and price each finished house into a market that does not care what you paid.
The world runs on its own clock, so land is released, buyers arrive and costs accrue whether the app is open or not. There is nothing to grind and nothing to wait out with a payment.
ACTUAL GAMEPLAY · ANDROID
Built and running privately. It will not be listed until it has been through a real shop’s checkout rather than a demonstration, which is the bar Packhouse Build cleared before it went out.
Request a quote, accept it online, get paid. Shoppers ask for a price instead of buying; the shop prices the request and sends a quote the customer accepts on the web, which becomes an invoice they can pay — deposits and staged payments included. Works with or without Wix Stores.
Progress, as it happens, is in the devlog.
Updates go out in days, not quarters. A fix you report on Monday is usually in a release that week rather than on a roadmap.
There is no support tier between you and the person who wrote the code. Enquiries come straight to us and are answered by someone who can actually change the thing you are asking about.
No advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, and nothing sold on. Even our fonts are served from our own machines. What we store is set out plainly in our privacy policy.
Problem with one of our apps, a question before you install, or a business enquiry — it all arrives in the same inbox and we answer it ourselves.
